Doug was an excellent tour host and took us to some delicious spots in the Gaslamp! I'm still full thinking of all the food we consumed. It's hard to pick a favorite, and I did some extra walking around to burn off the extra (well-worth) calories. This was a great way to ring in the New Year. I'll have to come back to visit these restaurants another time to expand my sampling!

We love doing food tours in every city we visit and this one was phenomenal. Doug was our tour guide and he went above and beyond in offering history with culture to give background and context to all of the food we were eating. Being from out of town we learned so much history and we got a great glimpse of the Gaslamp district with all of the classic architecture, and the food was delicious! Do not eat before this tour you need to save room because there is a lot of food! Definitely would recommend. Wear good shoes, lots of walking!

We decided on this tour because we wanted to have something planned for our trip other than just being in San Diego to get away from the cold weather back home and we love food. We loved the variety of food we got to experience with history behind each one. Our tour guide Doug was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the whole experience. Be prepared to walk & eat a lot. We've been to Gaslamp multiple times over the years but this tour made it even more special.

Sydney was a fantastic guide, and the food stops were amazing, We try to do a food tour everywhere we go, and this one turned out to be one of our favorites. The fish taco, burger, matcha latte, lumpia’s, and ice cream were excellent. We even got a bonus because the downtown Christmas dog parade was going on. What a treat! Go if you get a chance!
