Amazing day! Knowledgeable and friendly crew. We were apprehensive that with the open schooner it would be too windy. Perfect day!, They supplied blankets but ww didn't need them. We saw so many whales and dolphins playing out in the ocean. We would go again, and definitely recommend this experience!!

Whale watching season is all year long in San Diego! Our team at Next Level Sailing provides the optimal experience with guides so experienced we received a 100 percent success rate during winter whale watching when spotting the King of the Deep. We are one of the best outdoor activities to do in San Diego. Gray whale watching season spans from mid-December through April. Blue whales and fin whales are seen feeding in San Diego from April - August. Humpback whales and minke whales are seen throughout the year, particularly in the spring, summer, and fall. Aboard our 141-foot sailing yacht, the Yacht America, you will see a plethora of whales firsthand in their natural habitat. In addition to whales, we also see dolphins and sea lions, and an abundance of naval activity. Don't be surprised if you see an F-18 fly overhead! Bring your own picnic, friends, and family for a wonderful day out on the water

Fantastic experience. Beautiful vessel and outstanding crew who shared interestinh info about the bay, coastal waters, and marine wildlife. They were also very thoughtful about making sure everyone had snacks and blankets or motion sickness help if needed. (The America cuts through the water so gracefully that wasn't a concern, but we did have very calm weather.) Gorgeous scenery and we were lucky enough to see grey whales, a humpback, and several types of dolphin playfully jumping nearby. Very happy with this choice. Well worth the time and money.

I had an excellent experience with San Diego Whale Watching Cruise by Next Level Sailing. They truly delivered on their promise—we were able to see a whale, along with dolphins and sea lions, which made the trip unforgettable. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. I learned many fascinating facts about whales, dolphins, and sea lions, and even about the U.S. Navy facilities we sailed past, including where Navy dolphins are trained. Her explanations added real depth to the experience. The ship itself is a historic replica, which creates a unique and special atmosphere that sets this cruise apart from others. The crew was outstanding: very attentive to onboard safety, consistently kind, and always helpful. Overall, this was a memorable, educational, and beautifully run whale-watching experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting San Diego.

Saw a lot of dolphins and 2 grey whales. Such a cool experience and I plan to go back this summer. It took a few hours to see any of the whales but it was well worth the wait!

A wonderful experience with a great staff and an incredibly knowledgeable guide. The crew handled every bump on the water masterfully! The fire leader was, perhaps, the most impressive part of the entire excursion! 10/10
