5 friends went on the tour today and we all loved it. It should be called a food and cultural tour because we learned a lot of historical facts along the way. Every stop offered delicious food. Our guide, Isabella was awesome. Very knowledgeable, attentive and organized. Tom, the owner called me after I sent questions via text and was very friendly. I could tell he has a very discriminating taste in food so I knew we would be going to hidden gems with delicious food and we were not disappointed. All of us said we would go back again. Thank you Tom and Isabella!

I did a Chinatown walking food tour and overall it was a great experience. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and I learned so much about the history and culture of Chinatown, San Francisco that I never would have known just walking around on my own. I honestly think that the real highlight was the storytelling and history along the way. One of the best stops was a tea house where the host was absolutely entertaining — funny, engaging, and clearly passionate about tea. That part alone made the tour worth it. 🍵 Unfortunately I had to leave the tour early, which was disappointing because I was really looking forward to continuing on toward North Beach, San Francisco. I wish I had more time to finish the whole experience. Overall, I’d still recommend the tour if you enjoy learning the history behind a neighborhood and want a fun, guided way to explore Chinatown

We had a great time on this tour. It was a small group - only 4. Cynthia was a great guide. She took frequent stops between food experiences to help explain each neighborhood’s history and culture. The food at each restaurant was delicious. The highlight though, was Vital Tea House. I would have never have done something like this myself and I learned so much. Not only did Cynthia provide excellent experiences, you could tell that she has cultivated relationships in each community. I’m sure that added to the experiences. My cousin has lived in San Francisco for 35 years and, after hearing about our day, even she wants to take this local tour now! Go on this tour!
