Beginning at the Hog's Back gate high in the hills near Avalon, you’ll travel on five consecutive ziplines at heights of 300 feet (91 meters) above the Descanso Canyon floor. Feel your adrenaline rush as you reach speeds of up to 45 mph (72 kph)! Pause at several eco-stations along the way for interesting and informative presentations by your guide on some of the unique and interesting aspects of the island. Learn about the early Native American settlers and about how plants and animals arrived on the island. Did you know that Catalina is home to at least fifty endemic species that occur naturally on the island and nowhere else in the world?

Your tour package is processing. You will receive a separate email from Karmel Shuttle’s Extreme Tours containing your Hotel pick-up times, Ferry/Boat time & Zipline Start time. The email will contain instructions for each leg of your trip.

If you have not received an email confirmation from Karmel Shuttle’s Extreme Tours, you MUST confirm with them by calling or TEXT 714-670-3480 or email extremetours@karmel.com a minimum of 48 hours prior to the tour date. Failure to contact them may result in no availability, cancellation, or a No Show of your tour, without refund.
Cancelling less than 48 hours prior to tour date or a “no show” will forfeit the full price of the tour.
Please be out front of your hotel and ready 10 minutes prior to the scheduled pick-up time.
