Great time whale watching. Also saw sea lions and birds. It was nice to be on a smaller boat with only 8 other people. This allowed everyone a chance to see the whales and to ask any questions that we wanted. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. Also very respectful of the wild life and not disturbing them.

We had a great experience on the boat, experiencing wildlife. Their professional guides told all about nature & the marine flora & fauna. We saw sea lions, otters, eagles, and even whales from a distance. I would recommend Five Star Whale Watching without any doubt to anyone!!

I've had the best experiences (many times now) with Five Star Whale Watching. As a wildlife filmmaker and photographer, I love being able to experience wildlife species in their natural habitat and that's exactly what I've had with Five Star. I've been very fortunate to see either Orcas or Humpback Whales on every trip I've been on, with a sprinkle of bald eagles, porpoise whales, stellar sea lions and more!
I could not recommend Five Star more if I tried, they're a really welcoming and friendly crew, with a wealth of knowledge when it comes to marine biology and the surrounding areas. If you're in Victoria for a visit, or if you live here and want to experience what the sea has to offer, Five Star Whale Watching is the group for you!

Enjoy a 3-hour Marine Wildlife Tour with (an) expert guide(s). Travel on an exciting Expedition Catamaran or a 12-Passenger Cruiser. Both vessels are equipped with a heated cabin area, washroom and outdoor deck- with excellent viewing areas for everyone. You'll search for wildlife such as harbour seals, harbour porpoise, Dall's porpoise, Steller (Northern) sea lions, California sea lions, otters and over 127 species of marine birds.
If you are fortunate, you may even encounter one of the many species of whales that frequent the Salish Sea, such as orcas and humpback whales!
