We spent a beautiful day walking around this gorgeous sanctuary. There is a large variety of very pretty birds, alligators, cute otters swimming around and other animals that were rescued and in different states of rehab. We caught an informational show with some of the animals and watched the flamingos be fed while learning about different birds. There were family, friends and older people but it was not crowded. We also bought some cute things for our granddaughters. It was absolutely worth the entrance price.
See Florida’s famous flamingos as well an abundance of other native animals and plants when you visit Flamingo Gardens in Ft Lauderdale. Observe animals such as alligators, panthers and peacocks, and stroll through lush gardens filled with butterflies and hummingbirds, ancient oak trees, orchids and bromeliads, and more. Walk into the large open aviary where birds fly free and check out the Wray Museum, which shows a typical South Florida home from the 1930s.

Had a good time other than it was cold. I would like to do this one again when it’s warmer. Baby panther was cute.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the park! It was an "old Florida attractions" bucket list visit. Staff were friendly and we enjoyed the shows, tram ride, the Wray House and exhibits.
