Just under an hour from Austin and yet worlds away. I went there with friends for a birthday brunch. The food, wine, and service were impeccable. We walked around the beautiful grounds and vineyards to enjoy the hill country views before settling down to live music and conversation. Wine tasting and pairing were delicious and wonderfully prepared with our salmon and basil risotto.

Who’s awful idea was it to erect a plastic tent in front of the bistro and call it a restaurant when it’s 100+ degrees outside? I made reservations for a three course meal and wine tour at $75 a plate for my daughter and myself on Mother’s Day and was seated at a bar top table in the sweltering plastic heat box and expected to eat a hot meal. The reservation included a “wine tour“ But was informed that that entails being allowed to walk on escorted in the vineyard. Had it not been for the manager, John, our evening would’ve been ruined. Although we weren’t offered a refund, when requested we were allowed to use the reservation payment towards the wine tasting room experience. So for dinner we shared a charcuterie board and tasted wine. The staff there were lucky, they had air conditioning. John came back to check on us and made us feel special under the circumstances and he served us chocolate cake and was apologetic. But it was not the experience advertised or paid for.

Incredible meal! Loved tasting all the different wines. They even let us try a couple of extra ones. Everyone was super nice! We got some great pic’s too. Highly recommend!!

Celebrating our 30th anniversary and the wine, food, and service was amazing! Kaia did a phenomenal job and made our experience special. Sorry no pictures of the food - that’s only because we were too busy savoring it! The grounds are beautiful and lush!

My family had a great time at the winery. We enjoyed the three course meal and they did accommodate for my gluten allergy which was wonderful. I was impressed with the quality of the wines and the wine making is more in the old world style that I prefer. It was also nice to walk through the winery and see all the vines.
Something to note, the property was recently bought out and gratuities are NOT included. Something to keep in mind as we were not aware.
