Robert was on time, informative, interesting and entertaining. The food stop was plentiful and very tasty. Our first stop was Italian with pizza, gnocchi, meatballs and fresh bread served. All was perfectly prepared. The second stop was tapas that included bacon coated dates, chicken croquettes, mushrooms, potato bravas and bread. Again, all very tasty and in abundance. The last two stops were for a taco ( multiple options) and iced tea and baklava with wine. Robert led us around Georgetown regaling us with historical, spooky and fun stories. I highly recommend this tour but do not eat ahead of your tour. Thank you , Robert, for an incredible evening!

Our Gastronomic Georgetown Food Tour takes you to the historic yet chic charm of Georgetown, an area that predated Washington DC. You will be transported on this 3.5 hour food tour across 250+ years of history, and enjoy flavors closely connected to the Northwest DC neighborhood. Its roots are still very much alive and can be seen in the red brick town homes, and turn of the century factories that are found throughout the area. We do food tours whenever we travel … and this was my favorite of all time. Robert was an exceptional tour guide … his stories, knowledge of history, and sense of humor made this one of the highlights of our trip. The food was really good and we definitely left stuffed to the limit. Strong recommendation for sure!

This was a fabulous tour area history and food is a great combo I would recommend this for Anyone who hasn’t been to the neighborhood or has an interest in food in George Town, Robert was a great tour guide and kept us warm with stories and food even though it was cold outside.

Georgetown is a lively neighborhood with interesting fun facts. We went to 4 different places and had a good amount of food. Personally for me the highlight was a plant based restaurant. It was an unexpected surprise and the food was great. Our guide Christian grew up in the area and has a vast knowledge about the neighborhood history. The tour was slow paced, which allowed us to see points of interest along the way.
