This French Quarter History and Voodoo Tour" was one of the highlights of my visit! If you love history, spooky stories, and a bit of theatrical flair, this is the tour for you. Our guide, the amazing "Pepe" was fantastic. He was a master storyteller, and his passion for the mysterious and macabre side of New Orleans history was infectious. He kept us captivated for the entire two-hour tour. The tour was packed with fascinating and chilling stories. We got a great overview of the history of Voodoo in the city and the real story of Marie Laveau, which was much more interesting than the myths. Overall, I can't recommend this tour enough. It was the perfect blend of historical detail, good stories, and great entertainment. A must-do for anyone looking to experience the darker side of New Orleans! Wear comfy shoes and know that you won’t be stopping to see the inside of places so take note of what you want to see more of.
