recently booked a 7-hour day tour with Fun Dallas Tours through Viator/Tripadvisor. While much of my trip in Dallas and Canada was enjoyable, this tour was unfortunately a negative experience. Midway through the tour, I received a message from a second guide, Preston, about a separate tour I had not knowingly booked, which caused confusion. When I asked Preston for clarification before visiting the Farmers Market, while he was dropping some guests off, he ignored my questions. When I asked again, he threatened me, saying, “If you ask again, you can leave and we won’t refund you.” He then spoke about me to the group in a rude way. I chose not to escalate during the tour in order to avoid disrupting the rest of the group, but the experience left me shocked and disappointed. I have booked many tours around the world through Viator and have never encountered such unprofessional behavior from a tour guide. I hope the company addresses this behavior to ensure future guests have a positive experience.
