Disclaimer— this tour is more catered to the history buffs than to the lovers of the paranormal. Lucky for our wonderful tour guide, Claire, I am a huge fan of all things Philadelphia history. There are some fun anecdotes about Hamilton and his time spent in Philadelphia for those who dabble in Broadway musicals. I throughly enjoyed my Ghost Tour! Would definitely recommend, perhaps on a night with less wind and rain.

Gather the whole family for a frightfully fun night on the Ghosts of Philadelphia Tour—where history and hauntings come together in the heart of the Historic District! You'll wander the shadowy streets where spirits still stir, exploring some of the most haunted spots in Philadelphia. Along the way, you’ll hear true tales of restless ghosts, eerie encounters, and the spooky secrets of our Founding Fathers (turns out they left more behind than just documents…). It’s the perfect mix of thrills, chills, and fascinating history—ideal for families looking to add a little ghostly fun to their Philly adventure. If you have 10 or more guests in one group, please get in touch with the private & group sales coordinator with Ghost City Tours.

The tour was a great mix of history with ghostly tales! Our tour guide Andrew was fabulous. His informal chatting between stops was as entertaining as the scripted portions of the tour. Thank you!!!

Waste of time and money. Its a quick history of buildings and roads while listening to this squirrel talk about who died there

Claire gave a great mix of historic context mixed with fun ghost stories. Kept the group of 23 people all together and engaged. My 12 year old and my sister and I had a blast and a new found appreciation for the curse of yellow fever back a few centuries ago!
