Shay did a great job with the tour. It was easy to find the meeting location. It is obvious she has spent a lot of time learning about each of the places we visited; she had incredible background information. I did not mind we were in a car as it turned out to be quite a chilly evening. The only thing that could make this over the top would be to be able to go into one or two of the buildings - like maybe the Molly Brown house; but we had a great time.

Points of Interest

Stop At: The Spa at The Brown Palace321 17th St, , Denver, ColoradoTo start the tour, our guide will meet you in front of Brown Palace in a warm heated vehicle for your comfort. Since this location is where the tour ends, you will have the option to take pictures of the hotel lobby in the end. (Highly suggested) The Brown Palace hotel was built in 1892 for the high society and still operates to this day. This hotel is America's 2nd fireproof building, as there was no wood used in its construction. It is no surprise that the Infamous Molly Brown stayed at the Brown Palace after the titanic sunk. (We will visit her haunted mansion on this tour as well). While this hotel is phenomenal to look at, the place is crawling with ghostly activity. Ghosts roam around in the rooms as well as the lobby and restaurants. They are not shy here, I highly suggest spending some time in the lobby after the tour is over :)Duration: Not AvailableStop At: American Museum of Western Art1727 Tremont Pl, Navarre Building, Denver, ColoradoAlso known as the Navarre House, this gorgeous victorian building hides the deepest and dark secrets of Colorado's with its history of prostitution, brothels and underground tunnels that connect to the Brown Palace and Union Station.Duration: Not AvailableStop At: Colorado State Capitol200 E Colfax Ave, , Denver, ColoradoColorado State Capitol is not only gorgeous to look at but also filled with suspense that you won't find headlined in the "Denver Post". Cheeseman park is filled with tragic and sinister history as it used to be a cemetery for the poor and unwanted. Today, an estimated 2,000 bodies remain buried in Cheesman Park. It comes as no surprise that the spirits of these forgotten, looted, and sometimes desecrated bodies continue to make their presence known, not only at Cheesman Park but in the neighborhood that surrounds it.Duration: 25 minutesStop At: Grosvenor Arms333 East 16th Avenue, Denver, CO 80203Built in 1931, this gorgeous fireproof apartment building is filled with history and haunted spirits. I booked this twice. TWICE the tour operator cancelled before I was supposed to go. I was so excited to do the tour and they let me down TWICE!! How do you run a business like this. I’m extremely upset about this!!!

I arrived for the tour at the scheduled time in the pouring rain and waited 20 minutes alone. I messaged the company who let me know they had cancelled the tour. They said this was all due to a technical glitch but unfortunately, it made for a horrible first night in Denver. I hesitate to write bad public reviews as I do know how much it can harm businesses but this unprofessional and disorganized behavior may be a red flag for others booking with this company. I highly recommend making sure you message them the day of your tour to confirm bookings before traveling to any meeting sites.

I booked this first time online for Saturday not on Viator. I got a cancellation refund email from Groupon with no explanation. I reorganized my entire schedule to fit it on Monday instead and rebooked via Viator. I had a gazillion automated confirmations and reminders. On Monday (my daughters bday) we rushed back to the hotel for a 2.30pm pick up. At 2.40pm; I tried to contact the provider. At 2.50pm I again received a refund email and a note from the provider saying they didn’t know about the booking and they were looking into it with Viator (despite the fact that the first booking was not Viator). I was bitterly disappointing given all of the rearrangements and having a huge gap to fill on my daughters birthday. Very very disappointed.
