Debated for a while whether to do a day trip from Vegas to the Grand Canyon or just save it for another time. It’s been on our bucket list for a long time so we decided to go for it! So glad we did because this day tour with National Park Express is absolutely worth it. Our tour guide Brandon and driver Stanley made the tour informative and enjoyable. Brandon made sure to take photos for anyone who wanted them at all the key spots. The pick-up for us was at 4:40am from the rear rotunda of Excalibur. We were given a granola bar and a bottle of water. After all of the pick-ups, we were able to soon stop at a gas station to get coffee and snacks. The bus was very comfortable with large windows and also had a bathroom. Once we got to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, we chose to do the walking tour with Brandon. It was $20 per person extra. We stopped at several vista points starting at Mather Point and ending at Bright Angel Lodge. We saw the Hopi House and learned about Mary Colter. We saw elk, mules, and a California condor. A highlight was walking down the Rim Trail for a bit and seeing the depth of the Grand Canyon from that vantage point. All in all, it was a dream come true and we can’t recommend National Park Express enough for this wonderful experience!

Visiting the Grand Canyon was an unforgettable experience and truly one of the most awe-inspiring places I’ve ever seen. The sheer size and beauty of the canyon are impossible to capture in photos—you have to stand there and see it for yourself. Every viewpoint offered a different perspective, with layers of red rock stretching endlessly into the distance. Walking along the rim was peaceful and humbling, and watching the light change across the canyon throughout the day was absolutely stunning. The park was well organized, with plenty of scenic overlooks, trails, and informative displays that helped bring the history and geology of the area to life.

Gia and Milton delivered a genuinely 5-star experience with National Park Express. As a solo traveler, I was immediately made to feel welcomed and included, and they struck the perfect balance between fun, safety, and structure. Their knowledge of the canyon and the surrounding National Park history was top-tier, and the way they shared it made the entire trip feel informative without ever getting “tour-lecture” heavy. They managed the group smoothly, kept the pace on point, and were consistently proactive—checking in, answering questions, and making sure everyone got the most out of each stop. Bottom line: Gia and Milton turned what could’ve been “just a tour” into a memorable, high-value experience. Strongly recommend recognition and a positive appraisal for both.
