I’m not exaggerating when I say this tour is something I’ll remember for the rest of my life!! Colleen is amazing — her guidance was so fun and friendly, and you can tell she’s a local who really loves the canyon and surrounding nature. She’s also a walking encyclopedia… we didn’t even need to make extra time for the geological museum on our short trip because the tour explained all the exact same things, but it was even better coming from a real person while standing on the exact spots being discussed. The ride up to the rim was also super fun!! The hummer drive hits a rare sweet spot of feeling rugged and fun while being comfortable and safe. We had a perfect time and would recommend this to absolutely anyone!!

I was super excited to see the Grand Canyon and was expecting a little more from this tour. Our guide was very mellow and wasn’t engaging. The tour was actually a little boring. It was also freezing cold driving in the open air truck. We sat in the back and got tons of wind blowing on us as we drove between the scenic lookouts. Once the sun went down, the guide finally put the wind flaps down, but it was still kind of uncomfortable. Also, he took us to a spot to see the sunset, but the sun was partially blocked by a rock, so it was not the spectacular sunset I was expecting.

We really loved our tour! Coleen was engaging, funny, informative, and knowledgeable after living and hiking this area for years. She made the beautiful nature and scenery she showed us come alive. This tour was a highlight of our visit to the Grand Canyon!
