The swamp trip was amazing. We saw so many alligators! I was surprised this late in the year. The scenery was also amazing.m! I will say though that I’m not a fan of feeding the wildlife. The tour to the plantation was good but if I could do it again, I wouldn’t go on a school day. Pirate Nation had a ton of kids there broken into groups of about 10 each and spread out across all the exhibits. The kids were just being kids but there was no escape and it did take away from the solemnity of the slave quarters and the quiet that you felt should be part of the experience.

Great experience! Jane was extremely knowledgable and made the tour fun! I've taken this tour before, but had friends join us this time. They had such a great time! Highly recommend this tour.

The plantation was beautiful and the tour guide was very informative. We wished they talked more about life on the plantation, but that is not the focus for this tour. The swamp tour was a lot of fun. Although it was more like visiting a zoo as they feed the wild animals so they are always around. I wish it was more of a natural experience

The swamp tour was great. Very enjoyable. The Oak Alley plantation was interesting, but the house tour was decidedly lacking. Little information about the house itself. The tour guide was unenthusiastic, at best. Relatively details about the home itself. Our bus tour guide (Jane?) was excellent. Very interesting and informative.
