This was a great informative tour. Our tour guide, Stephanie, was just amazing. She was full of knowledge and passed this on to us as we explored the life of Martin Luther King Jnr. I would recommend this tour if you are in Atlanta.

Experience a guided tour of the historic neighborhood where Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. spent his childhood. Our tour gives an in-depth overview of the life of Dr. King Jr. from his formative years as a youth growing up on historic “Sweet Auburn” Ave, once called the richest Negro street in the world, to his impact as a leader in the Civil Rights Movement. Hear the stories that helped shape his character. You’ll gain insight into Atlanta’s history as well as other movers and shakers such as the city’s first Black Millionaire, on through the struggles of the Jim Crow era. Our guide is a long-time Atlanta resident who has worked for three former Atlanta Mayors including civil rights icon and former U.S. Ambassador. Andrew J. Young Jr.

The Home that Martin L. King as well as the museum were closed for renovations and I feelwe were mislead and overcharged . We could have seen it for far less just passing by.
