Captain Shane is a veteran and master boat captain who has been fishing the marshes and swamps of the Louisiana delta for over 20 years. Book a trip with us, and we will do everything in our power to get you hooked into some fish of a lifetime and make the trip as enjoyable as possible. Itinerary
We specialize in fishing inshore for redfish, speckled trout, black drum, sheepshead, and largemouth bass in the waters surrounding New Orleans. Capt Shane has a master's guide license, with over 20 years experience fishing these waters. We typically meet at the boat launch. We try and start early, (usually at day light), so that we can get to the fish and start catching as soon as possible. During the summer, it gets hot outside very fast, so we try and get done fishing within about 6 hours so that we can beat the heat. We provide all the fishing gear and bottled water. Make sure that you bring sunscreen, raingear if needed, and any snacks or other beverages that you may want. We clean the catch for you, but we do encourage catch and release to help maintain our fish numbers. There will also be lots of sights to see while we are fishing. Many types of birds and other animals, as well as alligators can be seen while we are fishing. Book with us, and you will make memories to last a lifetime.

- We use bay boats that are about 22 to 23 feet in length. Children are more than welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult. We also welcome impaired individuals, but they must be accompanied by a guardian.
- If you are very pregnant, or have any health issues that may hinder you from riding in a boat with waves or from physical activities, we suggest that you not book a trip with us.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
- This is a private tour/activity. Only your group will participate
- We keep first aid kits, life jackets, fire extinguishers, sunscreen, and a throwable life preserver on the boat.
