Shark Cage Diving On "The World Famous North Shore of Oahu", Hawaii

My husband and I had the most amazing experience with Captain Derrick, his son Kama, and his granddaughter Naomi! Captain Derrick and Kama were incredible - they made us feel so welcome and completely safe throughout the entire adventure. Their knowledge about the different types of sharks, their ecosystems, and natural habitats was impressive and really added to the experience. It didn't take long before we saw sharks swimming right around the boat, and they helped everyone into the cage with care and professionalism. As a bonus, we even saw a pod of dolphins on our way out and again on the way back! The shark cage experience is also very family-friendly. There was a small child on board who was a bit nervous, but the crew did an amazing job explaining everything to him -- what was happening, what to expect, and how they would keep him safe. They also provided a life vest for him to wear while the boat was running. This is one of only two locally owned Native Hawaiian businesses in the Haleiwa Harbor --veteran-owned and operated by a father-and-son team. We will DEFINITELY be back!
