We had a fantastic lesson with Ric. He was easy to communicate with, and he was so fun to surf with his lessons are amazing and I was standing on a surfboard in no time riding a wave definitely recommend.
Everyone who visits California wants to go surfing. It’s what California stands for. There are many places to surf in California but Malibu is on the top of the list. Surfrider Beach offers the best surfing in California and why not go to the best beach for surfing? I’ve been living in Malibu my entire life and will not only give you an awesome surf experience, but I can also give you a locals perspective on the area.

We arrived at the meeting point on time and waited for over 15 minutes, but no one from the tour showed up. We walked around, asked nearby people, and tried to find someone from the company, but there was nobody there. Very disappointing and unprofessional experience. We wasted our time and didn’t get any support or information. I wouldn’t recommend this tour to anyone.

Ric was a great, patient and knowledgeable instructor. What an epic day in the waves. I had previously taken surfing lessons with limited success but Ric gave the ponted, individual instruction that d
got me up on the board. What a great experience.

Ric was great a great teacher and very easy to learn from. Never been on a surfboard in my life and Ric had me in waves in a 1/2 hour. Lots of fun and would recommend to anyone. Bucket list item checked off, and I will probably have to do it again on my next trip to Malibu!

Ric is a friendly and well known surfer from Malibu. He was full of information and introductions to locals. He was genuinely interested in seeing my teen boys get up on a surf board! What a special experience for my family!
