We had a great experience. It was just my husband and myself as it was very cold and a weeknight. Rather than be deterred, Candler was a consummate professional. In addition to the ghost stories, he also provided rich context which made them come to life (no pun intended). He blended humor in to keep things active and moving, gave us local and national history, and greatly elevated my appreciation of the city of Savannah. The actual ghost stories were also detailed to the point you genuinely couldn’t help but visualize and empathize with the people involved. This is a great way to see the historic district, get some fresh air, and learn about history while also getting some spooky stories, too. Just make sure a book hag doesn’t follow you home! ;)

The experience was average compared to many other tours we have done. I would have preferred more walking vs static standing in a few places. It was super cold out which wasn’t the tour groups fault but that made it more unpleasant. I would have liked to have kept moving a little more. We had a group of 8 and everyone agreed it was just okay.
