The walk was short and fairly easy with some areas that were a bit steep but short. The falls were shorter but still beautiful. Uncrowded swim holes at the bottom of the falls were refreshing. But above all, Dane was just amazing. The wealth of history that he shared, calm (mālie), and super friendly. Small group was also great. It was an amazing experience

Experience the Hawaiian beauty of the Kohala Waterfalls on this small group Kohala Waterfalls adventure tour. Drive along the Kona coastline and explore the areas where lava flows from Mauna Loa, Mauna Kea and the Kohala Mountain. Tour was amazing, and I would do again. Not only is it as described, the guide provided geographical waypoints and historical stories, which were amazing. TY!

Absolutely incredible experience and our tour guide, Taro, was very knowledgeable of the history of Hawai’i, which made the tour that much better!

Mark was awesome, very informative. Easy hiking. Great views. Nice waterfalls. Relaxed tour of a not often seen part of the island

Beautiful part of the Big Island we wouldn't have seen otherwise! Mark, the guide, was very knowledgeable about all the flora and fauna and safety focused. I would recommend having water shoes for the waterfall swimming just for comfort getting in and out of the swimming hole. The experience was a highlight of our trip and we plan to do the bird watching tour next time we come!
