If you want the best Mauna Kea experience, look no further. Our guide, James, was absolutely fantastic. Not only was he a safe driver, but he was also a wealth of knowledge about the island. He has such a positive energy that stayed with us long after the tour ended. He timed everything perfectly, getting us to a beautiful vantage point for the sunset and then to a secluded area for stargazing. Seeing millions of stars with zero light pollution was life-changing. We will take you to the summit of Mauna Kea to see the sunset and we will do stargazing afterward (not at the summit). Our most unique part is that our guides will take the photo of the sunset and stars for you using their DSLR camera. All photos are free of charge and you will get it to your smartphone at the end of the tour.

Cloudy. Didn’t see anything and wasted five hours. They should’ve canceled the trip before it started, but instead they went through the motions, hoping that it would clear up and instead we just lost five hours of time.

We were able to reach the summit and see Jupiter and parts of the Milky Way band. Our tour guide, James, was the best! Hawaiian native with tons of knowledge about the geography and the sky. My finger tips were tingling while up there. It’s high!!! Great tour!
