That was better than we could have ever dreamed. The huge group was warned that because it’s winter, the water was more choppy for the Napoli coast, especially that day. So the Captain made the executive decision to not do the Na Pali coast at all and go up the east coast. We didn’t have a problem with that, but others did and had the option to reschedule or refund for a chance at better waves. Which left us with a small group! There was the captain and three deckhands. They were just incredible. We loved them. So kind, helpful beyond belief, and personable. We loved their stories from living on the island and education for us about the island and ocean life. We also had other tours the rest of the week that we had questions and concerns about like scuba diving that a deckhand, Luke, knew everything about and calmed our fears and made us excited. You can move around the boat freely, barefoot, there was the trampolines you could even lay on! It was so relaxing and fun! Doing the east coast in the winter was just phenomenal weather. It was dreamy Hawaii. The whales were so active we saw breaching! The Captain went right over and allowed time to watch! Then there was more whales that we got to watch! It was basically a whale watching tour and I was HERE FOR IT! We even saw sea turtles coming up for air, dolphins, a seal on the beach, and goats on the mountain!! WHAT!? I absolutely loved the food. Appetizers and dinner buffet style so you don’t get hungry ever! The deckhands are always there to help get you food, more drinks, take your dishes, offer help with sickness, etc. they had everything you need if you were feeling nauseous. Which, because we did the east coast with no waves, no one was sick! And my husband gets super seasick and he wasnt sick at all! (That was his favourite part) I can’t say enough good things about this tour. It was a dream experience because of the crew. We did not have kids in our group. We have three children ourselves who did not accompany us, and we did talk about how we were glad they weren’t there because we don’t think they would have had fun for five hours. And the stress of keeping them safe and parenting for five hours would not have been relaxing. Hope that helps anyone. Thank you crew and Captain Kevin for the best Hawaiian activity out there!

It’s a bare foot cruise and in most cases you will get wet. Even though we only saw whale tale it was great. The scenery around the island was outstanding and the cruise staff were very helpful and knowledgeable.

This was our second attempt to take this cruise. The last time, about 2 years ago, was cancelled due to weather conditions. Perhaps this one should have been cancelled, too. We embarked on December 11th, 2025. First, the catamaran was the smallest boat at the dock. We were fully booked with about 40 passengers aboard. Due to the roughness of the seas, all 40 of us were crammed into the main cabin area. Second, during the presale "weather" briefing, Capt. Mike mentioned we could expect 8-10 foot swells and if anyone was prone to sea sickness, perhaps they should cancel. But, he didn't explain exactly what 8-10 foot swells would do. He kind of made light of it, saying it would be "interesting." What he should have explained was that it would be like a huge roller coaster with the boat heaving up and down as the waves broke over the bow. My wife and I are not prone to seasickness, but at least 25% of our fellow passengers apparently were as they spent the cruise heaving over the side and into red Fire buckets. Third, only when we arrived to check in did we learn this would be a barefoot cruise. Nowhere was it mentioned during the online booking process or follow-up emails. The bare foot requirement was due to "safety" of passengers. I get it, some people show up wearing flip-flops, high-heels, etc. and they don't necessarily want to police footwear. But, I was wearing Sperrys, designed for boating and my wife was wearing hiking shoes with Vibram soles, extremely sticky soles. The deck was anti-slip with a very textured surface, so textured that some passengers cut their feet and one passenger severly skinned the top of her foot and leg when she dove for the railing to vomit over the side. They had to bring out the first aid kit for her. Fourth, the two deckhands had to play the hand that was dealt them by Captain Mike, emptying puke-filled fire buckets and guiding people to the rails to puke. They did a great job and tried to make the best of it. They served up appetizers, beer, wine and other beverages and later served pull pork and rice. My wife and I didn't eat any of it since we had spent the entire time watching our fellow passengers vomit. Kinda made us lose our appetite. It really didn't appear that anyone was having a great time.... Finally, immediately after the cruise, my wife received an email asking for feedback, either by posting a review or texting the feedback directly to them. She provided a similar account of feedback texted directly to them. As of Saturday, December 13th, we've not gotten a response. So, the lesson here is that this cruise takes you into open seas. It can be rough during certain times of the year. They should do a better job of explaining that and be mindful of how poor of an experience it is when you have to watch a good number of your fellow passengers puke during the cruise. Oh, and the coast that we sailed to see was beautiful.

Lots of fun, a very active boat ride. The crew was amazing, and dinner was great! We saw dolphins, whales, and a beautiful sunset!

Captain Mike and his two person crew of Nichole and John were amazing tour guides. The view was breathtaking on both legs of the trip. The food and drink portion of the program was sufficient and satisfying. The only tiny wrinkle in our experience was the lack of wind which made this experience an amazing boat ride and not a sailing adventure. Would highly recommend the trip and we will look forward to sailing with them in the future.
