Departure Point
- When coming off Steamship Authority Boat that lands at the Oak Bluffs wharf, we will be located across the street from the ticket office at the end of the ramp... you will see a blue bus with HomeGrown Tours logo on the side. When arriving to the Vineyard by way of the Island Queen: At the end of the ramp continue straight ahead up the hill til you arrive at the Steamship Authority (about a 5 minute walk) we will be parked across from the ticket office. You will see a blue bus with HomeGrown Tours logo on the side.When arriving to the Vineyard by way of Hy-Line from Hyannis: At the end of the ramp bear right to walk into town. At the center of town will be an information booth. Look to your left (towards the water) and you will see a very large flag, that is the Steamship Authority and Police Station. That is where we are parked. We are across the street from the ticket office. You will see a blue bus with HomeGrown Tours logo on the side.When arriving to the Vineyard by way of Steamship Authority that has landed in Vineyard Haven: You will need to get on the Vineyard Transit Authority and take the bus to Oak Bluffs and get off at the Ocean Park stop. The ride shouldn't be more than 20 minutes. When debarking from the bus, look to your left and you will see the Steamship Authority. We are parked across the street from the ticket office. You will see a blue bus with HomeGrown Tours logo on the side. The best method of travel to meet our bus tour is by way of Steamship Authority that leaves Woodshole at 9:30 am....arriving at 10:15 am..... NOTE: You CANNOTpark in Woodshole to get on the boat!!!!!! You must park in Falmout lot and take shuttle (free) to the Woodshole Steamship and vice-versa. Ride to Woodshole Steamship is approx 20 minutes.
