We visited Honolii Orchards to do the full chocolate tour and tasting and I have never experienced anything like it. The three and a half hours flew by as our incredibly knowledgeable tour guide and accommodating host taught us about everything from cacao pollination to farming history to fermentation and processing. The chocolate was exquisite and the tasting is bottomless and plentiful, but the most unique part is sampling the tart, sweet, delicious juice slushy from the cacao fruit, and the aromatic and luxurious cacao tea. We were kept comfortable every step of the way with their supplied umbrellas (good for sun OR rain!), water, chairs, sunscreen, and fresh fruit. I highly recommend a visit- it’s worth every minute and every penny.
