Easy-going if you follow all the instructions correctly! We chose a pick-up spot and were picked up smoothly. Ride to the ferry was about an hour and they provide the tickets for you so you don’t risk not getting on. They tell you the time you should be back on the port in order to catch the correct ferry ride back and were there to take us back to San Juan when we arrived! They dropped us back off exactly where we were picked up, all very smooth.

The ride on the bus was awful due to a disco light on the bus that changed colors and was so bright in our faces we could not stand it. Most people put their towels over their heads the entire ride!

Our trip to Culebra was cancelled by the tour operator I Ventures by text 10 minutes before we were to be picked up by them at the Fairmont Hotel at 6am yesterday. They said that the trip was cancelled due to bad weather and rain on Culebra. My wife and I got up at 5am and took an Uber to the pickup location. They said they will give us a full refund which we haven’t received yet. We were very disappointed. We had also made a reservation through the Viator app to reserve a golf cart, umbrella and beach chairs for $130. But when we called UTV Rentals they said the ferries were running all day and that they didn’t know why I Ventures cancelled our trip and could not give us a refund. We would like Viator to refund us this money. We had a very successful and enjoyable tour of El Yunque on March 6 which we also booked through Viator.

Our driver Rafael was prompt courteous and friendly. He shared helpful tips about the ferry. Know that this is for the auto ferry which takes 90 minutes to cross, the upstairs is bright cleanBesut and has AC. We used the link to rent a golf cart. LONG day from SJU (6:45a-8p) but a beautiful beach day trip!
