That a great day !! We got to swim with the sea turtles !!! It was a great trip and a great day. For more detail: You meet at 8:00a at the Ceiba Ferry Terminal. If you are driving, there is convenient public paid parking lot near the Ceiba Ferry Terminal with a shuttle between the parking lot and the ferry terminal. We were greeted by our guide Rafael at the Ferry Terminal. Communication via text or phone was excellent. The 1 1/2 to 2 hour ferry ride from Ceiba to Culebra was a little rough in the morning. I recommend taking Dramamine for sea sickness, just in case. It was rough but not a big deal. Once we arrived in Culebra, our guide got us on a shuttle bus and took us to Tamarindo Beach. Here we snorkeled. The tour company provided all of the snorkeling gear and led the expedition to the best spots. We saw four (4) sea turtles. That was the main reason I booked this tour. I wanted to swim with the sea turtles. And we were not disappointed. In addition, we saw tropical fish, sea rays, and coral. It is a lot of swimming, so be prepared for a workout. After snorkeling, we took the shuttle bus to Flamenco Beach. The white sugar sand and turquoise waters were beautiful. It was a little windy at the beach, but still nice. Flamenco Beach also has restrooms, beach chair rental, and snack stands. We had about 2 1/2 to 3 hours to relax at the beach. Then took the shuttle bus back to the Culebra Ferry and returned to Ceiba. Overall a long but very rewarding day. Our guide, Rafael was excellent !!!! I recommend.
