Enjoy the serenity and beauty of Muir Woods National Monument, see the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, and explore the artsy bayside town of Sausalito, all in about 5 hours! Round out your trip with an optional ferry back across the bay to view the city skyline and a close-up view of Alcatraz Island.

The guide was ok. I have experienced better. When we arrived to the bus we were told that Muir Woods was closed due to the government shutdown. It would have been nice to get an email about it. And it would have been nice to get refunded if we chose not to go. Very disappointed in not knowing until the very last minute

Great touring experience! Our tour guide Lana was very friendly and informative! Going in the morning allowed us to experience the quiet Muir woods and enjoy a vibrant walk around Sausalito to end the trip.

As soon as we boarded the bus, we found out that we were not going to Muir Woods because of the gov't shutdown. I was a little surprised that we didn't find out sooner so we could possibly cancel.

Wonderful experience. We opted for the early morning tour (7:15AM pickup) of Muir Woods which is definitely the better option. When we arrived to the park around 8:30AM, our guide helped pick up the admission tickets and provided an overview and recommendation on which trail to walk. The park was nice and quiet at this time and allowed us to take in the space at our leisure. We managed to walk through the main trails for the entire hour and half that we were there. The park was busier as we were leaving, so we were very grateful we pretty much had the park to ourselves before the crowds. Sausalito was a beautiful town. Take the time to walk through the town. Whether or not you want to grab a nice meal, an ice cream or just sit down and relax, there's something for everyone! Would definitely go back to both locations on our own time so that we can walk around both places again.
