Was called by the tour operator twice yesterday and told we needed to change dates due to the weather. We agreed to do that and he said he’d email us new passes. Never sent us the new passes. So we emailed him to cancel last night. Never heard from them. Messaged them. Called them. No response. Seems they wanted a free $280 for doing nothing but inconveniencing us. DO NOT BOOK THESE PEOPLE

Booked this trip from TripAdvisor site. It states this activity is good for ages 0 to 99. I booked it for myself my wife and our 8 year old. When we arrived the morning of the tour on June , told the guide that my son was not a strong swimmer and that I was a bad swimmer. The guide said that for safety reasons we should cancel. We would in the open ocean in 15ft of water with no life jackets. If my son or myself fell off he would have to jump in save us and that could be traumatic to all. I agreed, I called the company right there on the spot. The office in Hawaii agreed and said a full refund would be issued in 3 to 7 business days. It is now August 30th, 2023 and no refund has been issued. The company behind the tour Viator has not issued a refund and says that the only way to cancel and get a refund is to cancel 24 hours in advance. If the advertisement says good for ages 0 to 99, most babies aged 0 to 5 don't swim in the open ocean. This advertisement is false and the company doesn't care or respond.

What a great experience, thank you for the Lesson. It was an early class the water was calm and the instructor was awesome. Paddled to the Cliffs and back only fell once when we came back to shore. I didnt hear hm say look out for that wave LOL

My partner and I met up with Tyler for a stand-up paddleboard (SUP) lesson our first full day in Maui. Despite being quite laid-back, Tyler showed us everything we needed to know for an introductory SUP experience. He was kind and pleasant, and didn't laugh at how incredibly inept we were. He even gave us some tips on local restaurants. The equipment was in good condition and the water was calm, perfect for us newbies. We had a great time and were actually inspired to try SUP again on our own later in the week. I'd call that as successful an activity as it could possibly be! Definitely recommend this company and Tyler himself as an instructor.

I have never laughed so much while falling. Listen, these guys were great. The instructors are fun and the environment is beautiful. Go in with an open mind and accept that maybe standing up isn’t for you. I couldn’t keep my balance in check, not for a lack of trying on their part. I stayed on my knees and paddled. I regret nothing. They were great and gave me the best tips on food places to go to! It was a wonderful way to start our day, out in the beautiful water, laughing and getting some exercise in while having a blast.
