Had a really great time learning the basics. The small group was definitely a big plus. Felt like we really maximized our time in the water and amount of attempts because of that. A refreshing drink from some coconuts at the end was a great way to end!

I booked a surf lesson for my husband and two teenagers while visiting the BI in Jan 2026. We were looking for someone to teach the proper technique, skills, and tips for success. Jace accomplished all of those with friendliness and fun. With his guidance, all three of them were able to stand up and surf. Jace was happy to answer our questions and offer advice for equipment rental and local beaches that would be great for the upcoming weather during our stay. I would highly recommend Go Surf for surf lessons. We were very happy with our experience and feel prepared to continue practicing our new sport!

5/5 was very friendly and helpful. I was nervous I wasn’t going to do well but I actually was not half bad. would absolutely do this again.

We easily arrived using the directions provided. Jared was so welcoming and helpful. My blood sugar had dropped significantly and he shared snacks with me before the lesson began. On the water he made sure my baby caught some waves and gave helpful instruction onsite. When the lesson was over, we couldn’t find her glasses, but he stayed with us and helped us look for them even calling the other family surfing with us and discovering they had accidentally picked them up. He waited with us until they returned with them! We were in Hawaii celebrating my baby’s 16th Birthday and this experience was on her wish list. It was by far 10/10 for us ALL! Mahalo Jared💜

You can really tell the instructor just loves surfing, and that passion translates to a really good experience. Definitely the best first surfing experience I could ask for.
