Very solid outing with the whole family. We didn't pay for any of the extras (animal encounters), but the park still had plenty of interesting things to see that entertained the whole family for a few hours. The coolest animals were the gibbons, parrots, lemurs, capybaras, and emus. Plus there was a free show where we learned about other animals and got to see some more. And on top of that, playgrounds for the kids that they loved (including a treetop/rope-bridge playground).

Experience Jungle Island, Miami’s premier eco-adventure park, located across from the PortMiami cruise terminals and minutes from Downtown and South Beach. Jungle Island blends outdoor play, wildlife learning, and lush tropical scenery, making it ideal for families, cruise visitors, and anyone looking for hands-on fun in nature. What’s Included (General Admission): -Access to Treewalk Village featuring giant interconnected treehouses -Playgrounds and shaded trails with opportunities to spot rare wildlife such as flamingos, parrots, tortoises, and more -Guardians of the Jungle live show combining educational storytelling and animals

I went here growing up several times when it was still Parrot Jungle. I'm not in Miami as often these days but I have gone here a few times in the past few years. Price seems a little high for the birds and animals they do have. We did see a show with a few animals and birds.

We took a famiky trip to Jungle Island. For the price like others have said-definitely not worth the money. Better to go to the zoo. Many exhibits were closed.. The flamingos were in water that smelled like sewage. IMHO-there is no excuse for not having a cleaner pond thru filtering-aeration- • “Beneficial bacteria for ponds” • “Sludge remover” • “bird-safe pond bacteria” The animals were in small cages and many without water. We were there early in the morning so those animals should have had food and water. The poor giant tortoise had his head in his bowl looking for food or water. There was a small cement pond for the turtles--no water in bowls at all. At the gift shop-Water to drink for humans cost between 4-10 dollars per bottle. All extra activities were too expensive on a fixed budget to buy and many of the petting activities were closed. The playground and tree houses were nice but many Miami parks have equipment just as nice. The Jungle show was well done. Overall I-sadly-would not take my family back, Go to the museums and zoo-parks in the Miami system .
