Koa, Brady and Andre were awesome at helping our family learn how to surf . They were punctual, and sent me good instructions and maps on how to get there. We were the first group out on the water and got lots of practice time. My son liked it so much that he signed up for a second time the following day. Highly recommend this company.

It’s a large group of students but there were 5 instructors. Great for teens!. Website a little awkward

We had a great time! Our instructors Brady, Koa, and Andre were excellent teachers. Many people in my family were able to get up and surf. Definitely a highlight from our trip.

The guys were very nice, but they didn’t do too much teaching. They kind of showed us the gist and then sent on the water to try it. After we went there was no feedback, so I wasn’t sure how to improve. Additionally, we were out there for 2hrs and we each went only 4 or 5 times. These guys would be great for a private lesson, but the group lesson wasn’t super helpful

We just got back from a trip to Kona and the highlight of the trip for my 6 and 8 year olds was their surf lesson with Kaleo, Brady, and Leila. The instructors were amazing with the boys and set the kids up for success from the very beginning. I worked with the team to decide which lesson type was the best and boy did they deliver. Both kids started out tandem with the instructor and by then end, they were being pushed into waves and standing on their own. I would highly recommend Ohana Surf School if you are looking for lessons while in the Kona area. Kaleo, Brady and Leila are the best!
