My husband and I took the Kalapaki Kai Sunset Catamaran Cruise yesterday and overall, it was everything we hoped for and more. 1. Very chill and slow-paced, relaxed. From the moment we boarded, the vibe was laid-back. There’s no rush, which was perfect for us. Just cruising, taking in the scenery, sipping our drinks—it felt like a gentle unwind. 2. Captain was witty and very knowledgeable and Becca was so caring and sweet. His narration of Kaua‘i history, culture, flora, fauna, and nearby points of interest was excellent. You could tell he loves the island and takes joy in sharing its stories. He sprinkled in humor, which made the educational parts a delight. 3. Affordable and relaxing. For the price, the cruise gives great value. Snacks, drinks, beautiful views, local history, and sunset all wrapped up in about two hours. Totally worth it if you’re looking to relax rather than do something adrenaline. One minor thing to note: If you’re expecting big ocean waves or spectacular open-ocean vistas, this cruise is more about river & bay settings. Very picturesque, but the ocean portions are limited after you leave the bay. For folks who want “deep sea” scenery, that might be slightly less than expected. But for those who want calm, scenic, mellow — this is perfect. (We fell into the calm-lover camp.)

One of a Kind historical narrated sunset cruise. Scenic and relaxing sunset cruise of the historically significant areas of Kalapaki Bay, Nawiliwili, Haupu Mountain Range, Hulei’a River and Ninini Point. Delicious cocktails and soft drinks all inclusive in this magnificent sunset cruise.
