Great food, good tour guide interaction. This is our 2nd food tour and we plan to take another next.

Discover the flavors of the ocean on this locally guided 3-hour food tour of Key West. Savor maritime history through delicious seafood (or tasty non-seafood options) cuban sandwich & key lime pie tastings. Sample classic ingredients like Key West pink shrimp, Caribbean warm-water lobster, and fresh fish. Sip white wine after walking through the tropical neighborhood streets. This small-group tour is limited to 12 people, and you'll leave with a greater understanding of the industries that shaped our island and culture. Joining a fish lover, but not one yourself? No problem, we’ve got you covered with equally delicious substitutions.

We booked this same seafood tour last September, but three of the restaurants cancelled last minute, so we were excited to get to try them this year. Larry was an excellent guide; we went in the low season and ended up having a private tour all to ourselves. We enjoyed plump Key West pink shrimp, a tasty mango fish taco, some decadent lobster mac and cheese, a good Cuban sandwich with plantain chips, and finished up with some delicious Key lime pie at the Key West Cooking School. Also got to visit a cigar factory where they were hand rolling cigars and the Kino sandal factory, as well as walking along the harbor and seeing the exterior of Jimmy Buffett's recording studio. The tour was very well organized, and Larry kept things interesting with fun facts and historical information about life on Key West, past and present. You have the option of adding on a drink package if you'd like. Our first stop included a glass of white wine with the shrimp. I'd recommend bringing a bottle of water with you and wearing comfortable walking shoes. You cover a lot of ground, but at a very easy pace. Would highly recommend this tour for foodies and anyone interested in Key West history. Go early in your trip so you can return to your favorite spots.

Thank you to Larry our guide and local KW resident for the past 26 years. He is filled with accurate and detailed history about the area with fun local facts sprinkled in. Our food establishments were very well thought out and extremely relevant to the area. So much amazingly good food was enjoyed we actually had leftovers for later. Highly recommended!!!
