Very well done tour. They really helped inexperienced folks. Saw lots of fish and 6 whales. The boat and equipment was great too. They even included a sandwich or salad on way back.

The tour involves sightseeing on the ocean and snorkeling. We were also served a delicious lunch and drinks.

What a lovely experience! I had been wanting to do a catamaran in Hawaii and finally was able to do it. A friend recommend this to me. Great and helpful staff! Lovely snorkeling!

I booked a catamaran sail & snorkel with Ko Olina Ocean Adventures about a month out. I expected it to be the highlight of my trip to Oahu but instead it was my biggest disappointment.
(1) The company canceled the booking 48 hours before it was to start due having not met their minimum numbers. Having run my one small business for 10 years, I understand that side of things. However, they should know their business demand well enough to know what to offer and if they aren't going to stand behind it, they shouldn't offer it in the first place. Shame on them. This left us too late to schedule another snorkeling tour with a different company. To their credit, they squeezed us with the other snorkeling tour that they didn't cancel. But...
(2) Wind conditions led the ship's captain to cancel taking people out onto the water. This happens occasionally, I'm sure. However, the Ocean Adventures company had no back up plan to bus or take customers to an alternate snorkeling location near the beach (e.g. bay, lagoon, ...) How hard is it to have a bus on retainer? It was canceled with barely 24 hours notice and with that being our last day there, we were out of luck.
We rented some snorkeling gear from a place in Waikiki and did the best we could to enjoy the time snorkeling there. It is clear to me that Ocean Adventures is simply not a credible or professional company. I will definitely not entrust them with plans for my future trips to Hawaii.

This was a great experience. The captain and crew were very helpful, accommodating, and personable. The drinks were good and surprisingly for an excursion the food served at lunch was excellent!
