Wow, what terrific service! On the day I had planned a tour - early December and a rainy day - there were few reservations. But that did not stop the tour from taking place. Shawnda picked me up and one other person and away we went for this very personalized trip. I highly recommend Legendary Tours!

To walk the same grounds as my ancestors was eye opening. The experience, the knowledge are things I will never forget. The driver Edward was also amazing, so full of knowledge.

I really enjoyed the Whitney Plantation tour. It was mostly a self guided tour but I think the exhibits and audio guide were excellent. I liked that the tour focused on slavery and included stories from slaves who had worked on the plantation. I also enjoyed the bus ride from NOLA to the plantation, the scene of the swamps and Lake Ponchartrain was beautiful.
