This was a horrible experience. They overbook so that people are sneezed in like cattle unable to move around freely. They say you pick your seat by first come. Come at least 2 hours prior to get in line or you will not get a seat. They book three times the tickets as they provide seats. Also, if you are squeezed downstairs, there are several areas and seats on the boat that you can't see hardly anything out the windows. Even if you happen to get near a window, the windows are caked with thick filth that you are unable to see well, much less take photos. The tables, floors, bathrooms, and walls were all disgusting. I felt like I needed to go straight to the hotel to shower and change clothes before continuing my day just from sitting in such filth. Also, the "tour guide" was NOT a tour guide. He provided around 7 total facts about NYC, NJ, and the Statue of Liberty. The rest of the time it was just rambling thoughts, and a lot of those thoughts he should have kept to himself. There were plenty of small kids on the boat and he was cussing, said a few vulgar things, and was talking a lot of trash about people for no apparent reason. He even played some inappropriate songs for an audience with a lot of kids. There are plenty of popular songs that are still kid friendly to pick from. There was no reason for this. (I have grown kids, and they were not raised in a box. For me to say this, it is because it was extreme!) This was a waste of money and time. I wish we had of picked a different company for a better experience.

If you want to spend more than 100 dollars for a family, be treated like animals by security staff, wait more than 2 hours outside during a long frozen journey, this is definitively the place to be in NYC. We will never do this cruise again.
