We are always scouting out fun things to do for when our family and friends are visiting, so we booked this safari to check it out. We’ll definitely book this trip again. Glenn was great - he gave us a nice balance of wildlife, history and sightseeing. Great way to spend a beautiful afternoon on beautiful Marco Island!
Climb up into the Safari truck, fasten your seatbelt and get ready for the Around the Island Safari Truck Tour! Your tour guide driver will be showing you historical sites, celebrity neighborhoods, mega mansions and more. We'll jump out and explore an ancient indian shell mound and talk about the native americans that lived here before us. We'll dive into how Marco Island turned into a tourist destination and became developed in the 1960s. But wait... what about the animals? We should be able to spot burrowing owls, gopher tortoises, green iguanas, birds of prey and even dolphins if we're lucky. This fun sightseeing tour lasts 1 HR and 25 Mins. Kids can enjoy the on-board scavenger hunt where they look for landmarks and animals while we drive and win a prize at the end.

- Located across the street from Publix. It's a white shopping center with a green roof with no signage. Please DO NOT enter the building. Look for "Marco Island Safari" sign in the parking lot & park near that sign & wait for the safari truck to arrive, typically 10 mins before your tour starts.

If we're lucky, we'll have an opportunity to see burrowing owls, bald eagles, dolphins & gopher tortoises! Our safari truck is family friendly and can hold up to 14 passengers. Kids will enjoy an on-board scavenger hunt and can even win a prize! ...and did we mention there's plenty of cheesy dad jokes? - Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
- Public transportation options are available nearby
- Suitable for all physical fitness levels
- Not recommended if you have infants. Recommended ages 2+
- Not recommended if you can't go up and down small stairs.
- Blanket provided if it's cold (rare but nice to have).
- Binoculars can be used and returned when the tour is complete.
- Free Parking near the Safari Truck sign waiting area.
- NO RESTROOMS ON SITE or ON THE TRUCK. Go before you arrive!

Glenn was a great tour guide. He showed us many different areas of the island. Spotting iguanas, owls and tortoises was the highlight of the trip. Excellent adventure.

This tour was exceptional. We got to see all kinds of wildlife and the ride was very comfortable. I would definitely do this trip again when family is in town.

Enjoyed our tour on Marco Island Safari. Saw quite bit of wildlife and even enjoyed seeing the homes in the area. The scavenger hunt was a hit with the kids who were on the tour. Glenn has a great sense of humor which made our trip that much more fun. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Absolutely a must “to do” while on the island. Fantastic way to explore and tour guide was very informative. Our favorite were the tortoises 🥰🐢🏝️
