We had an awesome time!!!! Joe was our guide and he was super friendly and helpful and professional even to us complete beginners!!!! We got to snorkel real close to and get pictures with sea turtles and other sea life, it was an unreal experience and we can't thank Zephyr Maui enough!!!!

Joe was An amazing tour guide! He caught sea urchins and octopuses for us, he helped us with our masks and was very patient with my little kids. Highly recommend requesting him as your tour guide! The pics and videos he took were also perfect!

We got to see various marine life which was beautiful. However, I would recommend the following:
-Increase the ratio of guides to guests. There was only 1 guide in the ocean with a large group of about 7-8 guests. The two other ?guides stayed in the van and drove off while we were in the ocean because commercial vans are not allowed to park on site. Would highly recommend increasing the number of guides to at least 2 per group so that there is a guide at the back at all times to help those that were having a little bit of a harder time swimming in the ocean. Especially as this is a tour for guests with all types of experience levels (beginner to advanced).
-Recommend the guide bring some extra life jackets for guests that may have over-estimated their swimming abilities and declined life jackets before getting into the ocean as you can get easily fatigued if you’re not used to swimming in the ocean

Had a fantastic time with Joe and Mr. Alec. This was our family’s first time snorkeling. Joe & Mr. Alec were very patient and helpful and thoroughly explained the plan so that everyone was aware and could complete the dive safely and have a great time doing it. And that is exactly what happened: we went to a spot that was teeming with underwater life and both Joe and Mr. Alec took the time to explain the marine life we were seeing. Even a surprise visit from a white tip shark didn’t rattle them. They made sure our group and the wildlife were safe and comfortable. Everything was awesome, and they sent us a ton of pictures and videos, being sure each member of our party was in them. It was a great way to end our trip here on Maui.
10/10 highly recommend!!
