Itinerary
From the meeting place we'll caravan to the Summit Visitor Center for viewing and pictures... then caravan on to our viewing site. During the tour, your guide will provide viewing commentary as the stellar rotation becomes more visible and assist with viewing through the telescope. Warm beverages will be provided. One telescope for every five people will be provided. The guide will discuss current celestial events, celestial navigation, and facilitate questions and answers about astronomy, Haleakalā geology and history, and the environment at the crater. The tour will formally end around 90 minutes past sundown.

- Most travelers can participate
- **You MUST wait 24 hours after scuba diving before visiting the Haleakalā summit for stargazing!!
- Stay hydrated throughout the day before your tour.
- There are no food and beverage vendors at the summit. Please bring food or snacks that you would like to enjoy.
