This was so much fun! Everyone was super nice! Tour guides were awesome! Don’t wear white because you will get dirty from the dust.
Maui Mountain Activities offers horseback rides that take you up into the West Maui Mountains to view waterfalls (seasonal) from a distance, then down to the coastline to ride alongside the Pacific Ocean. Experience the tranquility of Maui's native rainforests and the beauty of its waters. There is a run spot where you can run your horse, if you want (weather permitting), and your guides will take photos of you with your camera along the way. Tour through the petting zoo and experience up close the many animals, which may include mini horses, geese, rabbits, guinea pigs, pigs, and sheep. This is a 2 hour tour. Soft drinks are provided and complimentary.

- There will be a big yellow "Maui Mountain Activities Parking" sign on the left side of the road. The guide will arrive at 8am. Once all the guests arrive for the 8:15am check-in, the guide will lead all vehicles up to the ranch where the horses are located.

AM Horseback ride is a 2-hour ride that goes gradually up the mountainside to view the waterfalls (seasonal) in the valley from a distance. Wife and I joined for a horseback tour in October, our guides were Cienna and Kai and we rode Gold and Mana. This was the best horseback guided trail ride i’ve joined! The views were incredible, the guides were awesome, and the horses were super healthy and happy to be on the trail. This tour allows you to cantor a bit which was nice. Lots of uphill and downhill on the tour along with a beautiful view of the ocean. this trip is easy for a beginner rider but will keep an intermediate or advanced rider happy. Beware the dust on the trail — wear a mask if you are sensitive and don’t wear clothing you hope to wear again without a trip to the laundry!

Breathtaking views on horseback! These horses go up and down some pretty steep terrain and never did I feel uneasy. I’ve been riding for 3 years and loved it and it’s just as amazing for beginners. My daughter, 16 yrs old, is an experienced rider as well and enjoyed it equally. We had two great guides, Kai and Sierra, that worked really well together to talk to the riders and keep the horses on track. We got great pictures and even had the option to canter the horses. A lot of loose soil so tons of dust gets kicked up I highly recommend not wearing anything nice or white. Wonderful experience! Definitely worth it!
