We enjoyed the helicopter tour with our pilot, Mike. He showed us a lot of the island we would have never seen without booking this tour. We got great photos and felt safe on the trip. So glad we booked with this company.

- Due to comfort and weight balance of the aircraft, passengers weights limit must not exceed 275lbs per person; 620lbs total. If weight restrictions are exceeded, we will cancel the tour and no refund will be given
- A minimum of 2 seats must be purchased even if only 1 passenger wishes to travel; this is a private tour, and passenger groups are not mixed
- Minimum age is 7 years, required to sit by a closed door. Ages 12 years and older may sit next to an open door.
- ALL tours are Doors-Off (Except for passengers 7-11 years old)
- Passengers must provide their own means of transportation to our office for check in.
- Check in is 40 minutes prior. Late check ins will be considered as a no show and subject to full price.

Please park in the designated parking stall, Stall number **#17MLH or #4MLH.**
Attire Policy:
*Note: We are currently operating as an outdoor tour. Therefore, ALL tours are conducted with DOORS OFF except for passengers 7-11 years old.*
- Jacket/Light Long Sleeve Layers (temperatures can get as low as 55° F/ 15° C) Any hoods can be tucked for comfort
- Long pants if you get cold easily
- Long hair tied back into a braid or bun
- Secured footwear or will be barefoot during flight
- No earrings, head/hair accessories, loose items
- Glass/Sunglasses are permitted (no straps required, held in place with headsets)
With forceful 100+mph winds, ALL items used for pictures/video footage during the flight MUST BE secured with a strong strap otherwise will not be permitted during the flight. We do provide straps for your cellphones (any cellphone strap NOT provided by Mauna Loa Helicopter Tours will not be permitted) . All pictures/video will be up to passengers to capture during the flight.

From start (sign up, waiver, safety, orientation) to finish, we had an OUTSTANDING experience with doors off. Lorenzo was a delight and skillful pilot. (I am remiss not remembering the gal in the office who set us up - friendly welcoming) Even through the clouds, we got to see the Sacred Falls. When Lorenzo spotted a baby whale breaching, he looped so we could get a better view. (What was also impressive was how the office tracks each flight!) Needless to say, we HIGHLY recommend Mauna Loa Helicopter Tours!!! It’s an absolute must!
