Do this tour. This is one of the few tours that included the dam powerplant, as well as views from the AZ side, a walk across the dam & a walk up to & across the Mike O' Callaghan- Pat Tillman Bridge. Our tour guide Brian was knowledgeable, informative & talkative. Additionally, I rode in the front passenger seat & can attest he was an excellent & safe driver. There is a brief security van check, upon entering government property of the Bureau of Reclamation. It is also the buy point for powerplant tour tix, which are included in the tour price. Later, we did walk through a security check point upon entering the powerplant, viewing a movie, then taking a 7 second, 34 person elevator ride to the depths of the dam & huge turbines, where a site guide took over the tour. Other info: We rode in an immaculate, 14 passenger Ford panel van. Cold drinks, chips & bananas were provided at all stops. You designate your pick up & drop off, which may be different. You're out & about for 6 hours. To the adventure!
