Free parking on site. You can book your tour on-line. My tour was cancelled due to high winds causing issues, but they refunded me on the spot, and gave us a free walking tour around the main building. The gift shop is huge with lots of free samples. And the ice cream...you have to get one of those made on location.

The PistachioLand tour offers a ride on a 14 passenger electric vehicle through the pistachio orchards and vineyards. This is a working farm where pistachios and wine grapes are produced, and wine and candy is also produced on-site. Free samples of nuts and wine are available in the gift shop. Although you can walk-in to purchase a $2 ticket, booking guarantees a seat unless canceled for weather. Risks: Open air vehicle exposed to weather, wildlife and farm operations. Tour vehicle travels on a bumpy, gravel road. Pets are not allowed on tour due to insurance requirements. Waivers required from each guest. Must be seated on the vehicle 15 minutes prior to departure.

A stop here hits the notes for an entertaining stop. We found the tour & story about the US grown pistachio at this farm to be quite interesting. Then, you get to taste them & the wines they produce. Very cool. Of course it is very hard to leave without a scoop of pistachio ice cream!!! Enjoyable folks!!!

It was a fun and educational tour. AJ (I think that was her name) was great. The samples of wine and pistachios at the end, were a nice touch.

As a lover of pistachios I just had to stop here after spending the morning in White Sands National Park. We took the short tour and learned about the process of growing and harvesting the pistachios and grapes. I liked being able to taste a raw nut right off the tree. The gift shop is well stocked with all things pistachio and plenty of different flavors. Of course, having some of the delicious pistachio ice cream is a must! We're very glad we stopped!
