Meow Wolf's Convergence Station in Denver

This is a weird, extremely colorful, and overstimulating place. Some of the artwork is strange and bizarre. It is a slightly disorienting, psychedelic environment. If you prefer to see artwork in serene surroundings, then I would recommend visiting the Denver Art Museum instead. I think the people who will most enjoy Meow Wolf are those who enjoy solving interactive puzzles, escape rooms, cracking codes, and scavenger hunts. We used a qpass to collect clues, learn the storyline (or lore), and solve puzzles. The qpass costs 3 dollars, and you will only need one card per group. I think it will be difficult for young children to understand how to use the qpass to comprehend the lengthy detailed storyline and patiently solve the many puzzles, some of which are challenging or time consuming. In addition to figuring out the mystery of the main storyline, there are some smaller interactive side quests that are fun to decipher. For example there is a fun quest to figure out the key code to open the door to a pizza room in an alley There are some other neat little activities which don’t require solving any puzzle. For example, pulling the levers on the pipe organ in a certain pattern will cause a dramatic musical light sequence to occur, but you wouldn’t know the correct sequence unless you watched the storyline using the qpass. It took us more than 2 hours to actually “solve” the mystery of the entire storyline, but the ending is quite satisfying. I suspect that completing the other interactive side-quests and uncovering other secrets of Meow Wolf’s art installations could probably take days. Overall, we enjoyed our time there. This is great place for those who enjoy taking selfies and Instagrammable photos. Parking is 15 dollars and is located in a lot directly in front of the entrance.
