Stop At: Mount Shasta City Park1315 Nixon Rd, Mount Shasta, CaliforniaThis is the location of the Headwaters of the Sacramento River. Many people try the clean and refreshing waters that come right from the ground waters of the spring. This was also part of the hunting grounds for the Native American Tribes that lived in the area. Duration: 15 minutesStop At: Mount ShastaMount Shasta, CaliforniaThis area is very unique with its geologic history of the rocks from Ancestral Mt. Shasta and spiritual vortex energy. Learn about the famous Lemurians, the City of Telos, the Yaktavians, known as the bell makers and more. We will either walk or drive in depending on road conditions. Duration: 30 minutesStop At: Red Fir Flat Group CampgroundSand Flat Road, Mount Shasta, CA 96067Ascension Rock is a well known Power Spot! It is a short walk in. Many people like to do silent meditations at this location. Duration: 30 minutesStop At: Old Ski Bowl TrailheadMcCloud, CA 96057This is the main trailhead on Mt. Shasta. We will be at 6,950 ft. We will take a short walk up the trail and get excellent views of the mountain. We will also learn about the Shasta Red Firs, White Bark Pine, the local birds and other wildlife of the area. Duration: 30 minutesAdditional Information
