We had a great experience, touring Chinatown with our tour guide, “Candy”. In this tour, you should be open minded and prepared to taste various flavors and novel food preparations that may be different than what you’re used to. However, it will open your mind to a whole new world of authentic Asian cuisine. This tour provides a taste of the vast variety of Asian snacks, sweets, teas and dishes available for you to further explore on your own. We were pleasantly surprised at what we discovered. We were lucky to have the tour guide to ourselves. The tour was very personal and didn’t feel rushed at all. She was knowledgeable, and fun to spend time with in this culinary experience that was exactly perfect for our weekend trip to NYC. We would never have been able to do this on our own in such an efficient and organized manner. It was relaxed, fun and a wonderful learning experience. I I would definitely recommend adding this tour to your plans if you are interested in gaining some real insight into the vast representation of Asian culture in Chinatown NYC.
