We very much enjoyed this tour!! Chris was a wonderful tour guide, he made sure we got to experience all the wonderful things the eastern side of Oahu has to offer. We even saw a turtle and a whale! It was a small tour, only 3 of us and it was fantastic. Chris is a great tour guide, he knows a lot about the history of the area. Some of the spots you visit are also more well-known with the locals if that tells you anything. I would book this tour again and recommend to anyone considering. Thank you Chris!
Bring your phones and cameras for the best landscape photos and selfies ever!! We have created the best half-day sunset tour for those looking to see the best spots. We have limited space, so book sooner than later. This afternoon adventure will take you to very fantastic lookouts. The first one on the stop is a spot most people can't seem to find. Meaning it's usually empty. You will be able to see the entire south shore from this spot. Then we head to the Kaiwi coast, where the fantastic seacliffs have been formed. Explore this area and capture suburb panoramics. You can spot Humpback whales right off the cliffs in the winter months. Just before sunset, we take a break and grab a bite. The shopping area has the most food that you can enjoy. We highly recommend trying the local spot called Fay Boys. Now, the sunset. In the winter, you can see the sun drop right into the ocean. Depending on the day and the group, we can fine-tune the location we visit.

This was our third tour with Oahu Photography Tours. Kurt was a great guide, very easy to talk to and willing to structure the tour to fit the group. Kurt gave great camera tips for both Apple and Android phones. He was able to share stories about the island and connected with us on a personal level. We were able to see places we would not have known about on our own. Great guide and experience. Enjoy that new car Kurt. We will talk story next time 🤙

This tour was a fantastic opportunity to view and photograph beautiful landscapes around the island of Oahu. Our guide Kurt made the experience so enjoyable. His knowledge of the area and his photographic expertise and advice were appreciated. We enjoyed the small group experience of this day's activities. Kurt answered every question we could think of and more! We had a blast with Kurt as our driver/guide/photography aficionado. He was polite, patient and professional in addition to being knowledgeable and entertaining. We enjoyed the time we spent on this tour and gained more than we ever anticipated. I had an amazing experience with Kurt from Oahu Photography Tours. He is incredibly knowledgeable about photography and the locations we visited, and he made a real effort to include everyone in the conversation so no one felt left out. As a solo traveler, I truly appreciated how welcoming and inclusive he was.
Kurt took some fantastic photos of me and the rest of the group, and he also shared helpful tips and tricks for getting great shots using just a phone camera. He was patient, enthusiastic, and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand.
I would absolutely recommend Kurt—10/10 experience and a highlight of my trip to Oahu.

I had an extra day here and found Oahu Photo Tours last minute. Great communication from the jump, and I was surprised they pick up right at the hotel. Kurt was a fantastic guide the whole day - full of energy and enthusiasm for each of us on the tour. He was excited to be there and help make the most of the day.
I wanted to see a little more of Oahu than just Waikiki, and this is a perfect tour for that. Kurt knew a lot about the island and had great suggestions for everyone. I booked the tour specifically for photography, but the rest of the group did not. Even if you just want to see some more of Oahu on a half-day trip, this is a fantastic economical way to do that.
Kurt had a lot of knowledge about smart phone photography so if that's all you have, don't worry - you'll get some great pictures!
