A visit to Old North is more than a walk through a historic church or quick stop on a tour of Boston. As preeminent keepers and tellers of the American founding story we actively work to examine and interpret attitudes and events in colonial Boston and connect those reflections to our contemporary moment.
We chronicle and share the literary history and context of the famous Longfellow poem “Paul Revere’s Ride” and examine how works of popular culture shape our view of history and the world. And, we promote greater understanding of the value of historic preservation and the role national landmarks and heritage sites play in our society.

Your ticket grants you admission to all our campus has to offer, including an educational talk in the church outlining our history, the church’s role in launching the American Revolution, and the Longfellow poem that made it famous. Your ticket also gives you access to our historic gardens, the historic chocolate program in Clough House featuring engaging education on the history of trade and commerce in Boston, as well as admission to our current exhibit in Patriots Corner. Our hope for all visitors is that you leave with a greater understanding of the meaning of patriotism, civic engagement, and active citizenship from 1775 to our present moment.
*Please note: Patriots Corner and Clough House will be closed during winter admission between January 2-February 14.
