The audio worked as promised. Very informative of park sites. Fall was a nice time to visit the park.

Purchase one tour per car. Everyone can listen at the same time! Experience the raw power and beauty of nature at Yellowstone National Park. This enormous volcanic caldera has captured the American imagination for decades thanks to its explosive geysers, prismatic hot springs, and astonishing waterfalls. Home to some of the only wild bison and wolves on the continent, this park can’t be missed. The tour can begin at any of the park’s entrances. Due to poor signal in the park, download BEFORE arrival & use OFFLINE MODE. Note road closures on park website. After booking, check your email/text to download the separate Audio Tour Guide App by Action while connected to WiFi or mobile data. Enter the password, download the tour, & enjoy it offline. Follow the audio instructions and route from the designated starting point. Buy once, use for one year! Ideal for extended visits and return trips over the next 12 months. This isn't an entrance ticket. Check opening hours before your visit.

I wasn’t quite sure what to expect when I ordered this product. Turned out to be a very good investment. Lots of options for the Yellowstone area; you can download any one of the five entrances. We chose the west entrance. Also, since Yellowstone is generally divided into its upper and lower loops, you can choose which loop and, more importantly, which direction (clockwise or counterclockwise). Once you’ve downloaded the app (you need to do this somewhere that has cell service; don’t wait until you get to the park or you won’t be able to download the app), select your entrance and direction. Then proceed into the park. The app is GPS based so it provides information based on your location. The narrator offers lots of options for little known side roads, etc, which we found very useful. Grand Teton has very similar options and both were very helpful and informative.

The self-guided tour worked out perfectly for us. It was easy to download and use. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Yellowstone.

This app with the self-guided audio tour is a must for touring through Yellowstone! It guides you every step of the way and also gives you a lot of information of the area and what you will see. It even told us when we made a wrong turn once!!! Just be sure to load the app and download each of your tours so that they will start automatically without cell service. I truly can’t say enough good things about this app/guided tour!
